Per Virginia ABC law and our business philosophy, Notaviva Vineyards LLC has a zero-tolerance policy for serving intoxicated patrons.


The safety of our families, neighbors, community, customers and region is of utmost importance to us. Intoxicated patrons will be asked to leave immediately, and if a suitable means of safe transportation is not available we will call you a cab.

Virginia ABC law provides strict guidelines through its R.S.V.P. program and Notaviva Vineyards LLC adheres to these to the letter of the law. There are severe consequences for all parties involved in the serving of an intoxicated patron. The patron, the server, and the ABC licensee may all be subject to penalties. To that end, we urge you to properly plan your visit to ensure that at least one member of your party functions as the designated driver for the safety of all.

Upon entering the grounds of Notaviva Vineyards LLC you will see signs indicating the following:
